Safety Measures

Safety Measures from Monday 19 July

From Monday 19th July we will be entering Stage four of the Government’s Road map with all remaining restrictions being lifted.

The Leatherhead Theatre has decided to take the following actions to help stop the spread of Covid-19.

From Monday and over the summer all our staff have been asked to continue to wear a face mask when in proximity to others and when moving around the building. We urge you to consider others and unless exempt, respect us and your fellow audience members by continuing to wear a mask in the auditorium and as you move around the building.

You are no longer required to check-in via the NHS track and trace app but if you wish to the QR code will still be up around the building.

We will continue to have socially distance markers on the floor when queuing for box office and the coffee shop/bar for the remainder of the summer and ask you to consider your proximity to others while in our public spaces. Hand Sanitiser will also remain accessible throughout the venue.

All Performance from Monday 19 have now been returned to full capacity, even if they were originally sold as a socially distanced performance. If you would prefer not to be too close to other visitors, please contact box office and we will do our best to help recommend a performance or seats which may offer more space.

We will continue to review our covid safety measure in line with advice from the Government.

We ask that, whatever your views on social distancing and mask wearing, you respect everyone in the theatre and their choices.

Thank you for your ongoing support over the last 18months, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the theatre over the summer.

If you have any question, please do get in touch with our box office team on 01372 365141 or email admin@the-theatre.org

We’re good to go

We have been awarded “Good To Go” status. This is the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines.

We have been ‘See It Safely’ approved

We have been granted the use of Society Of London Theatre & UK Theatre’s ‘See It Safely‘ mark. The mark certifies that we are complying with the latest Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, to ensure the safety of our staff and audiences.
