Rhiannon has completed her Level 3 Diploma in Dance, where she achieved a Double Distinction Star. She also has her Level 3 Qualification in Early Years childcare, which she pursues during the week also.
Rhiannon has a particular love for tap, commercial and contemporary styles of dance, which she incorporates into her classes! She is passionate about helping children to develop their confidence, creativity and skills.
Rhiannon says: “Working at TTA is such a joy! I love being part of such a lovely community, where I can help and watch each child grow and build their passion for performing arts. My aim for each class is to always have lots of energy, laughter and show every child’s talents through and through! I feel lucky to be doing what I love with such amazing students and a fantastic team!
Claire Philbrooks
TTA SEN Lead
I am Claire, a proud mum of two beautiful teenagers; one of whom has a rare chromosome deficiency on 11q. (Jacobsen Syndrome).
I understand how difficult it is to find the right creative outlet for children with additional needs; where they can feel comfortable to thrive and just be themselves.
I have an HND in Combined Studies in Drama, English Literature, Education Studies and Psychology from Kingston University. I have a passion for the Arts and Theatre.
During lockdown in 2020, my daughter Elicia instigated joining The Theatre Academy (then Dandelion Theatre Arts) by zoom.
Her resilience and determination, despite my Zoom phobia! was immense. She joined face to face sessions at the Theatre as soon as she was able and has thrived due to commitment and belief of the team. I am thrilled to be assisting Elicia and TTA run the Theatre Club.
